We have been absolutely flat out preparing for the wedding, in typical Eyles fashion I thought I had plenty of time, until all of a sudden I didn’t, so every Saturday for the past 6 or so weeks has been a full working day, mostly in our yard preparing it for the reception.
I had been hoping to make a trip down to Hobart to see SPOT 4 berthed there, but the way things have been going, there just wasn’t going to be time, but then TT-Line announced tours of SPOT 4…
I couldn’t say no to the opportunity to get onboard, and we really needed a day off, so I messaged Katie and we organized an overnight trip to Hobart.
Katie booked us the hotel right next to where SPOT 4 is docked, MAC 02, very cool. A nice hotel as well.
We could see SPOT 4 from the hotel!
We ordered in room service for dinner and watched the next episode of Foundation, it was the quietest, chillest night we have had in a long time, and it was very welcome!
After a sleep in on Saturday morning we checked out of the hotel, went and found some breakfast, and then headed over to MAC 01 for our scheduled tour.
She is very nice onboard, and being purpose built there are so many little things that will make the Bass Straight crossing so much nicer. My favourite? TMK (the main onboard restaurant) is right on the front of the vessel, so you will be able to see where you are going while enjoying your dinner or breakfast onboard. So cool.
